Bass Bite is on

The last full moon seems to have moved up a fair amount of fish on the two lakes. Water is coming up and weather is unstable for the few days. USA Bassin has a 300+ boat tournament on Sat & Sun. There will be an ABA out of Paris on Sat with about 100 boats & a couple of small local tourny's on Sat. Fish have moved up from half way back to the back of the coves and are using wood and bushes now. There have been a few bigger fish caught in the last few days. It's a been a tackle box fisherie right now. Anything seems to work as long as you fish it like you mean it. Although flipp'n has very productive. 50 to 100 fish days are commine, size comes and goes. Sight fishing is tough because of water clarity and the riseing water. I have been able to get fish on some ledges and main lake points as well. Football head jigs and Berkley 3" Chigger Craws on the rocks and shell beds are working on the ledges. Medium running cranks on the points and Chatter baits & Jigs around the bushes and wood. Rigg'n works for that like to drag it around. Doug Pietrzak www.barkenguide.com 270-206-0934
