Big Bass Bonanza Recap
By: Glenn Walker
Published Date: 7/12/2010

A gorgeous, sunny and not to windy day greeted the 32 teams on July 11th in Spicer, MN for the third 2010 Big Bass Bonanza event. Green Lake, which is known primarily for its smallmouth displayed some of its hefty largemouth today with 3 largemouths over 4.5 lb’s being displayed. Teams reported catching a lot bass, but getting fish at or above the 2 lb. mark was a little bit harder. The top three teams all had over 20 lb’s of bass and all fished using tubes and drop shots.
The team of Brandon and Bob Moore captured another check in a BBB event, which had them sitting with a comfortable lead in the year end standings coming into this tournament. With only two event left this team could be hard to knock off for the team of the year honors.
Check out Big Bass Bonanza website for more information on the next event on August 8th on Lake Minnewaska.
