Big Bass Bonanza Recap
By: Glenn Walker
Published Date: 8/23/2010
A very hot day and tough fishing conditions lay ahead of the 31 teams that took off to fish the final Big Bass Bonanza event for 2010. Not only were anglers chasing after a good limit of Sauk Lake hawgs, but also looking for valuable points in the year end standings.
Only eight of the teams brought in a full eight fish limit, but there were numerous bass over 4 lb’s caught, including two bass over the six pound mark! The team of BBB tournament director Chad Keller and his partner Greg Wiechmann took the win with an impressive 24.29 lb. limit. The team who was sitting on the outside of the top ten going in to today knew that they had to finish well to make the Tournament of Champions. With this win the team finished the year in 9th place just making it into the top ten two points. A big congrats goes out to the team of Brandon and Bob Moore for winning the team of the year title!
Check out Big Bass Bonanza website for more information on the TOC on September 12th that will be held on Lake Osakis.
